Luxury at an affordable price

The Grand Marquis is basically the Mercury's version of the Crown Vic or the Town Car-same company really-Ford Lincoln Mercury. The Mercury is better looking than the Crown Vic and rides like the Town Car. It has a few less amenities than the Town Car but still has enough for the real luxury car aficionado. I purchased the car with 9K miles on it at Car Max and saved 15K in price. It still smelled new when I bought it. It drives like a dream, gets the same mileage as my V6 Park Avenue, but has a lot more power and room. If you crave comfort, power and room while driving or road tripping, the Marquis is the best buy for the money in the Ford Lincoln Mercury class. The Grand Marquis LS I purchased has heated mirrors, an info center (mileage, fuel consumption, fuel economy, miles left to empty), a compass, a garage door opener (programmable up to three doors), two sets of programmable keys, a valet key, keyless code entry, Michelin touring tires, a supreb digital environmental control center, a concert hall sound system-factory installed, beautiful and durable leather, and it corners like it's on rails and floats like a Cadillac or town car. I really love this car.

Grand Marquis

Hello If you are looking at one of these it is a good bet. Gas mileage 20 Mpg overall , my Altima got 22 so for a big safe car this is great. Ford AC Awesome .... :) these cars dont break and when they do things are much cheaper than imports. I have been driving BMWs, Lexus, Honda for many years and parts are expensive and you have to replace stuff more often than you think, perception reality thing. Rides great good value Carmax was great no hassle good job.

Excellent Car

The car runs smoothly, handles well and is a very safe "feeling" car. I'ts comfortable on long trips. The gas mileage isn't great but it isn't bad either. I chose this car for the overall safety ratings that I have read. It does feel like a safe car and I am quite pleased with it. The insurance rates are excellent on it as well.
