Used 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis LS for Sale
Reviews for 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis
Sad to see her go!!!
I've owned my Grande Marquis for 10 years. The only reason I'm considering trading her in is because I've found a 2006 model with 9,000 miles. If you maintain this vehicle it will stay out of the shop. I replaced the battery at year 5, the tires at year 4, and three spark plug coils. With regular oil changes we avoid the mechanic pretty well. Not a fan of high riding SUVs, but I love a big low ride!! This car is an ideal vehicle. I will be trading mine in at 87,000 but I'm positive she has another 87,000 in her.
Sound and ride
I am very disappointed in the noise that I hear. Not only is there a lot of road noise but when I am idleing I can hear the motor as well. The ride is also rather bumpy even on smooth roads. My Mother, who is a very slight lady, has to be positioned just right or the "passanger airbag warning light comes on. Also I am disappointed that there is no way to hang a trash bag or a way to put some kind of storage unit(for cds and such) I realize that Mercury is not making this car anymore and probable did not take the care in making them that they have in the past. I am disappointed that they didn't care a little more.
Very Good Value!
I owned this specific car (6PJJ 743) and drove it on three round-trips to eastern Tennessee. It eats up the miles effortlessly and will cruise all day at 70 MPH with no strain and returns very good fuel economy considering its' size and the huge amount of belongings I carried. The after-market dual exhaust system that I added helps the fuel economy. It actually feels like a smaller car in city driving and maneuvers into parking spaces easily. Dollar for dollar, it is a very good value. The reason I sold this car is that I own another Grand Marquis and did not need this one
