Owned my fwd 6cyl 2007 Mariner for 5 years now and couldn't be happier. Very low maintenance suv and she has started right up for me every day. Just replaced the original battery ($90) after 83k miles and the only other issue was the belt also needed to be replaced ($50)and the 2 rear turn signal bulbs!! The original continental tires were also changed at 50k because the highway noise was getting louder on them which annoyed me and the generals I picked for a replacement are a perfect combo for it. It really has all I need like good pick-up, decent gas mileage, good cargo space,etc.. My next vehicle will have a back up camera though which this does not have.I'm thinking of getting a newer one like '09 or '10 since they stopped making them. Best vehicle for the money that I've owned so far after 30 years of driving.
2007 Mercury Mariner - 01/21/2008
Driving throughout the metro/dc area 5 days a week was really adding up the milage on my audi, so I decided to purchase the Mariner SUV. Great cargo room which was much needed, with lower fuel costs and better gas/mile. Overall I am very pleased with my ride.
