Customer Review Summary for Mercury Mariner
2005 Mercury MarinerLacy - Milwaukee,WI06/14/2007
Having a new car is no big deal but i sure do like this one. Have driven 4 cylinders for a long time and the first time I pulled away from a stop sign and laid rubber I was a bit surprised. Nice nice nice
I was looking for a crossover SUV and found a great package with the Mercury Mariner Premier. The interior is very nice with leather seats, ambient lighting, sunroof, etc. Drives wonderfully. Very quiet. I love the Sync system except that I find it wants to sync with anyone that gets in the car and has that option on their device as well. I like that I can charge my iphone by plugging in the USB cable but cannot let anyone connect that way because it will sync to their device. This can easily be solved by purchasing an actual car charger for the phone. I have been having a few difficulties with the Bluetooth. Many people say that they either cannot hear me or that they hear a high pitched noise in the background. Not sure if this is a fault of mine or the car yet though. All in all, very satisfied!
Mariner has great features
2006 Mercury MarinerDownsized from Landrover - Chicago03/31/2008
The Mariner has almost all the same great comfort features of my Landrover LR3. Leather trim, sunroof, heated seats, electric seats, etc. Few things I missed were arm rests while driving distances, stereo controls on the steering wheel, and heated seats in the second row. (If you haven't had stereo controls on the steering wheel then you won't even notice.) But hey, the Mercury was 1/3 of the price of my Landrover and looks great too. Fuel economy is 17mpg in the city and uses regular unleaded fuel. All in all a comfortable little SUV. Its not big cargo vehicle and it doesn't race around the city, but its fun and comfy to get passengers near and far.
