I had a Mercury Sable 2000 that I purchased used in 2004. My husband and friends told me that it was time to retire "Sable" as she was 12 years old. I loved that car. It rode SO smooth, had a sun roof, leather interior, roomy, electric windows, and had a 6 disc CD player. I was determined that I was going to find the same thing in my next car. I did. A 2010 Mercury Milan. There were actually two Mercury Milans when I went to test drive them, and I picked the one with leather interior. I love the car as much as I did Sable. They no longer make the Mercury Milan, however I am hopeful that when I am ready to retire my 2010 Mercury Milan, they will have a similar model. Cannot say enough about this car. Absolutley love it.
Very Good Car
2006 Mercury Milanjcf2006 v6 - SC06/02/2012
Have a 2006, V6 Premier. Pleased overall. (+): interior and exterior styling, ride / handling balance, strong brakes, quiet, instrumentation very attractive, more than adequate power. (-): poor immediate rear visibility, barely decent fuel econ--26 MPG best hope on interstate--disappointing for a car with 6 Speed trans. Wide turning radius. Overall an 8 out of 10, excellent value & surprisingly sporty handling, but not too firm. Roomy, attractive interior and trunk. Better looking than similar year Camry & Accord and has been reliable over 20K miles for me.
