Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.333 reviews) I owned this specific car (6PJJ 743) and drove it on three round-trips to eastern Tennessee. It eats up the miles effortlessly and will cruise all day at 70 MPH with no strain and returns very good fuel economy considering its' size and the huge amount of belongings I carried. The after-market dual exhaust system that I added helps the fuel economy. It actually feels like a smaller car in city driving and maneuvers into parking spaces easily. Dollar for dollar, it is a very good value. The reason I sold this car is that I own another Grand Marquis and did not need this one

Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.571 reviews) I purchased my Marquis used with 100,000 miles already on it and used it for visiting job sites and carrying stuff around including people. The 1996 edition was huge and would easily carry 6 people and 2 chop saws in the trunk. I called this car my energizer bunny car. I put it through the worst conditions and it still cleaned up nice to go to Church on Sunday. I drove it until it had 350,000 miles on it and the only reason I sold it is because I was moving 800 miles away and needed something a little more dependable. Biggest mistake I ever made. The car had virtually no major repairs, the driver door had to be adjusted, and the head gasket leaked a little water for 2 years, as long as I put a little extra antifreeze in it each month, no problems! As a single mom with 2 kids in college, this was the best investment I ever made for myself. I wish I still had it!

Comfort

I like almost everything about my Mountaineer, but if you have passengers riding in the back seat for a long time they will start to complain about the comfort, it is spacious but the most uncomfortable back seat EVER!!!
