Customer Review Summary for 2010 Mercury Mountaineer
2010 Mercury MountaineerAnnie - , 08/08/2013
I have prior experience owning a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer which is why I purchased this newer vehicle as a replacement for my older model.
I like the style of this vehicle with the features of the automatic running boards when you open the doors. It is very convenient for those who have a difficult time getting in & out of higher sitting vehicles. The rear window/gate has a nice feature allowing for the window to open independently from the gate & the sunroof is an added bonus. The automatic rear folding seats with push button access makes life easier instead of having to struggle to manually put the seats down or upright & allows for more cargo space usage. An added bonus is the GPS system installed in the vehicle, Sirius radio which requires a subscription that allows for one to listen to their favorite music or comedy etc., and the installed dvd player which is great for on the road trips with children.
Highway performance is really good with this vehicle & the gas mileage is average in city & on the highway. It has a fairly smooth ride & handles well. I find the vehicle to be comfortable to drive as well as having sufficient space without feeling crowded in. I like the driver choice for seat use of keyless entry system on the driver side door.
I am so pleased with my Mercury from performance to style & all the added features for the price we purchased it for.
I like almost everything about my Mountaineer, but if you have passengers riding in the back seat for a long time they will start to complain about the comfort, it is spacious but the most uncomfortable back seat EVER!!!

This is a great car, and it works even better for carpooling or transporting gand kids. It is great to have a dvd player to occupy the kids while traveling. I like the disappearing running board.
