Used Mini convertibles black exterior with Soft Top
Reviews for Mini Convertibles
A must own, but VERY expensive out of warranty
Yes but only if you can buy extended warranty. With the seats down, I've loaded a large Costco shopping cart woth of itmes! Great manual transmission. Comfortable seats and great heat/air conditioing. Top goes up/down quickly and keeps out elements very well. Pros BMW quality at a fraction of the price Good gas mileage More fun than one should legally have with cloths on Handling, breaking and mechanical feel is top notch Cons BMW cost for all repairs: $180 oil change, $800 break job, etc Must use Premium gas, so this off-sets gas savings Base sound system is the worst sounding of any car i've owned; get harmon kardon system as aftermarket is hard to install and expensive Rear visibility poor Fair resale value
Great car at a fair price
I started looking on the website and found a car I was interested in and appeared to fit all my needs. The next day I went over and told the salesperson which car I was interested in seeing. After a test drive I decided to purchase this car. Since then I have been very pleased with it and have not encountered any problems.
It's a 10 year old car. What can you expect.
You have to be ready for an old car to have a few problems no matter where you get it. After a few months the Mini came up with some major problems with the oil pressure, and engine light notifications. The fixes weren't cheap either, but this is what you sign on for with any used car. Once the car was repaired it went back to being one of the most fun and exciting cars I've ever driven. Just like any car, keep it maintained and you will have a reliable vehicle to take wherever you need to go. I recommend a Mini Cooper S if you want to have fun while younger there. Fast fun and safe, with a great stereo to listen to along the way.
