Big Things Come In Small Packages
Amazing amount of interior room. Handles very well, turns on a dime. Car feel's very solid. Oh, that German engineering! Like the cockpi feel of the controls. Great sunroof that just permits venting, Air conditioning vents could have been better placed to give the driver a little more comfort. All the electronic readouts/set-up and look-up of information/symbols take a bit of getting used to. Had to download my owner's manual from on-line and it doesn't always tell you how to do things...like set up your cell phone so you can use it hands-free while driving. The gas mileage is great. Can't wait to take it on a long trip!
Why didn't I do this sooner?
Even though I am 6'2", I easily fit in the Mini. Now, no one can sit behind me so basically I have a three seater. Driving a Mini is a blast. It's kind of like driving a sports car. Wait... it really is. I loved my F1 50 until I had to go to the store and park it in the parking lot or in the garage, go to the gas station, pay the monthly bill, or go slowly around corners.
This is a fun car!
I enjoy the look, the easy handling, the comfort and the fact that it is a manual transmission. The gas mileage is phenomenal, I get 36 mpg on the highway and around 35 mpg around town. There is plenty of legroom in the front seats, a little less in the back.
