Customer Review Summary for Mini Cooper
This is a fun car!
2014 Mini CooperNancy Delia - Goldsboro, NC04/12/2017
I enjoy the look, the easy handling, the comfort and the fact that it is a manual transmission. The gas mileage is phenomenal, I get 36 mpg on the highway and around 35 mpg around town. There is plenty of legroom in the front seats, a little less in the back.
A must own, but VERY expensive out of warranty
2010 Mini CooperAlexander M - Coral springs, FL07/19/2015
Yes but only if you can buy extended warranty. With the seats down, I've loaded a large Costco shopping cart woth of itmes! Great manual transmission. Comfortable seats and great heat/air conditioing. Top goes up/down quickly and keeps out elements very well.
BMW quality at a fraction of the price
Good gas mileage
More fun than one should legally have with cloths on
Handling, breaking and mechanical feel is top notch
BMW cost for all repairs: $180 oil change, $800 break job, etc
Must use Premium gas, so this off-sets gas savings
Base sound system is the worst sounding of any car i've owned; get harmon kardon system as aftermarket is hard to install and expensive
Rear visibility poor
Fair resale value
Cute but cramped and complicated.
2015 Mini CooperB Casagran - Los Angeles, CA12/21/2015
The controls are not intuitive; it is too cramped; the design has a lot of uncomfortable flaws-- for example, I have to move the seat forward so far to be able to push the clutch far enough down, that I cannot unfold the side visor because my seat back is in the way. I don't like having to sit so close to the wheel and never had to do this before, though I am short. Reverse is right next to 1st-- Several people, including myself, have shifted into reverse by mistake when trying to shift into 1st quickly. It is no where near as good on gas as my previous car which was a Prius, even though it is so much smaller and cramped.
