Transmission: Automatic Color: Green Avg. Vehicle Review: 4.63 (495 reviews) "Both my wife and I fell in love with this car. We have a 2008 Cooper Clubman S. Given its light weight, small size and turbo engine it performs well. It can be used as a daily driver given its gas economy. It really is the best of both worlds. Do get the S rather than the standard as we drove both and noticed a significant performance difference between the two models Pros- Performance, Really fun to drive (like a go kart). gas economy, clubman has decent storage room and rear leg room, both versions have decent front leg room, due to the fact that minis are customized you'll be hard pressed to find two of a kind Cons- rough ride (we have the 18 inch rims which adds to the roughness), the turbo lag is very noticable in the older models (our 2008 is noticable), BIGGEST ONE CON IS THE COST OF SERVICING THIS VEHICLE so do your homework on what it will cost to own this puppy after you drive it off the lot."

Great GO KART and Daily Driver

2008 Mini Cooper Al from the IE - San Bernardino County, CA 06/01/2012

Cool clown car

2004 Mini Cooper atxmini - Austin, TX 11/16/2009

I went in pretty much knowning I wanted a mini cooper. I was able to find a nice 2004 with what I wanted. One of the main things is I had to get a manual transmission as I heard the CVTs from that year are notorious for going out early. I'm able to get around ~350 miles per tank if I'm doing a lot of highway driving. One thing I like is the on board computer will calculate your average MPG as you drive. Straight, flat highway I can get about 36 mpg. Overall my mix of driving leaves me at ~30 mpg through the life of a tank. It is a mini cooper so the trunk space is pretty limited. I'm 6 ft 1 though and driving it is still plenty comfortable. It has pretty tight suspension and you feel every bump in the road. Whether or not that is a pro or con is open to interpretation. Shortly after I got it I had some issues with the power steering going in & out. They weren't able to reproduce the problem when I brought it in but has been holding up since so I'll just keep my fingers crossed on that one.

Great rare find, the ultimate fun car

2006 Mini Cooper Emma Olson - Fairfax, VA 10/12/2015

i would definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for something different. As you can probably guess, minis are small but they are a smooth, fun ride and you can park just about anywhere! So far I have had no problems with the convertible except that sometimes the hatch on the roof doesn't deal properly and makes a small whistling sound over 50 MPH and id also like to point out that there is a slight blind spot towards the back ends of the car while the top is up. Overall, it is a fun, zippy, easy to drive car that will definately add a little something to your life.
