Transmission: Automatic Color:Orange Interior Color: Average Vehicle Review: (4.429 reviews) Fun factor is off the charts. I bought this car for my wife, who commutes to a part-time job. We already have two other vehicles, so practicality wasn't a concern. She decided she wanted a small convertible and after reading a lot of reviews, this is what we chose. We've had it four months now with no issues. I understand maintenance can be costly on these, but we haven't had a single issue. It gets decent mileage (it would get great mileage but it's so much fun to step on the gas in this thing), it's comfortable, and it is the most fun car I've ever driven, hands down. It has surprising room for the driver and passenger, but the backseat is only good for two mid-size passengers and even then, only for short distances.

Whether zooming through twisty roads or taking it out for long drives, it's comfortable and won't leave you aching. I've heard that they're not super reliable but I haven't had a bit of trouble. Proper maintenance and care will make this last a long time.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.617 reviews) Loved my first Mini Cooper S and wanted the same thing but a bit bigger with 4 doors. They started making a 4 door original Mini in 2015 so I was holding out on trading until that model came up. It was worth the wait. It's a bit longer and a bit wider with a very economical "green mode" for better mileage although "sport mode" is still a fun option.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.667 reviews) Yes but only if you can buy extended warranty. With the seats down, I've loaded a large Costco shopping cart woth of itmes! Great manual transmission. Comfortable seats and great heat/air conditioing. Top goes up/down quickly and keeps out elements very well. Pros BMW quality at a fraction of the price Good gas mileage More fun than one should legally have with cloths on Handling, breaking and mechanical feel is top notch Cons BMW cost for all repairs: $180 oil change, $800 break job, etc Must use Premium gas, so this off-sets gas savings Base sound system is the worst sounding of any car i've owned; get harmon kardon system as aftermarket is hard to install and expensive Rear visibility poor Fair resale value

Reviews for Mini Coupes

Overall Rating

Great rare find, the ultimate fun car

i would definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for something different. As you can probably guess, minis are small but they are a smooth, fun ride and you can park just about anywhere! So far I have had no problems with the convertible except that sometimes the hatch on the roof doesn't deal properly and makes a small whistling sound over 50 MPH and id also like to point out that there is a slight blind spot towards the back ends of the car while the top is up. Overall, it is a fun, zippy, easy to drive car that will definately add a little something to your life.

Embrace Atypical

Sure, it's a small car. It looks different. But that's what makes a Mini so memorable. It doesn't have a lot of space but more than enough for a couple of weekend bags and a few cases of wine. Its engine won't out-muscle the monsters from Detroit but do you really want to base your own performance and identity on something so...inflated? Borrowed from the Brits and born of a unique engine, the Mini is a sensible car with a growing following of loyal supporters. It drives like a go-kart and when was the last time someone was miserable after driving one of those? Exceptional handling, better-than-average gas mileage, and a style that defies most labels, this is a car for the individual.

Super fun to drive car with great MPG

Most fun car I have owned to date. I also own a 1986 BMW 325 with a 2.7 stroker motor and 2000 328Ci and it blows both of them out of the water. The turbo provides a fantastic amount of power to the front wheels. I didn't anticipate liking fwd but with the limited slip differential my car has it really pulls through turns. 180 hp and 180 tq in a small hatchback is loads of fun. 6 speed transmission. Very economical on gas, averaging 35 mpg. I'm 6'1" and there is still extra headroom.
