Customer Review Summary for 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse
2008 Mitsubishi EclipseRoxy - Florida12/15/2008
My sister has a 96 Eclipse 100K + and it still runs!So far she hasn't had any major problems, the car has been really good to her. For my next car I'm going to look for a mitsubishi eclipse, they are reliable, good quality and cheaper than other models of different brands.
I have really enjoyed driving this car. It rides great, gets good gas mileage and is comfortable. There isn't a lot of room in the back seat, but generally, it is only my 45 pound dog back there, so it is plenty of room for us.
I own a 2007 Eclipse GT. It is a great car, I cant think of any other car with as much quality and performance at the same price. The other day I got it up to about 105mph, I'm gonna try and push 130 my next opportunity. Keep in mind I'm talking about a GT.
Positives: Fast, sounds good, looks good, Rockford Fosgate kicks some serious butt, front seats are comfortable and A/C works beautifully which is a must here in CA.
Negatives: Blind spots(you get used to them), it has the turning radius of a pickup, Back seats are uncomfortable and it is front wheel drive. A car like this should at least be RWD or AWD. It is also definitely more cute than it is mean looking.
While the last Mitsubishi Eclipse rolled off of the production line several years ago, you can still find this sleek and iconic little sports coupe in the market today. Americans enjoyed a 20-plus year love affair with this fun Japanese car and its powerful engines, sleek styling, and affordability.
