I own a 2007 Eclipse GT. It is a great car, I cant think of any other car with as much quality and performance at the same price. The other day I got it up to about 105mph, I'm gonna try and push 130 my next opportunity. Keep in mind I'm talking about a GT.
Positives: Fast, sounds good, looks good, Rockford Fosgate kicks some serious butt, front seats are comfortable and A/C works beautifully which is a must here in CA.
Negatives: Blind spots(you get used to them), it has the turning radius of a pickup, Back seats are uncomfortable and it is front wheel drive. A car like this should at least be RWD or AWD. It is also definitely more cute than it is mean looking.
I have really enjoyed driving this car. It rides great, gets good gas mileage and is comfortable. There isn't a lot of room in the back seat, but generally, it is only my 45 pound dog back there, so it is plenty of room for us.
Words can't express how much I love my car. It is so sexy and makes me feel alive each time I drive. It gets wonderful gas mileage and handles like a dream. This is an amazing little car that has surpassed all of my expectations.
