Just a fun, fast car to drive. Lots of power and a comfortable ride when cruising. Stiff, responsive steering, makes it feel like a race car. When shifting the 6 speed manual trans, she just keeps giving more and more power. Before you know it, you're cruising at 80 mph. :D
I absolutely LOVE my Eclipse Spyder! It handles very well, has good pick-up for a 4 cylinder, and looks great! The back seat is very small, but i knew that going into the purchase and am fine with that. I have been driving mommy cars for many, many years so it is great to have a FUN car again. I can't wait for warm weather so I can enjoy the drive with the top down. I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a great value in a great little sportscar.
I bought a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse brand newright off the dealership floor.. everyone around me told me i made the biggest mistake and for a minute i believed it .. but 4 years later my vehicle is running strong.. i have no problems with it.. The price was affordable for me as a college student working part time. . it got me everywhere i needed to go.. im lovin it !!
While the last Mitsubishi Eclipse rolled off of the production line several years ago, you can still find this sleek and iconic little sports coupe in the market today. Americans enjoyed a 20-plus year love affair with this fun Japanese car and its powerful engines, sleek styling, and affordability.
