I bought mine 4 years ago and it still only has 29,000 miles on it. It is the most dependable car I have ever owned. I Previously had a Toyota Celica which I liked but the Eclipse has a wider wheel base, more room and a lot more get up and go. Every once in a while I will floor it and the front end comes up. I get a charge out of that every time! Beautiful car, baby blue and not a scratch on it. I also went to a dealer and they wanted me to sell this car for a new Eclipse. No way! This one is paid for and looks brand new. I don't understand why it doesn't get more publicity. Very happy with this car!
This has been one of the best cars I have ever owned! I have bought mostly new cars in the past... but I had a good friend recommend the Eclipse. I am very glad I purchased this vehicle, for a used car it is a good as a new one! I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for stylish performance.
The entire process from walking in the door at Carmax and approached my a salesman, showing him the Eclipse they had off the Internet on my iPhone too driving off of the lot was very relaxed and professional. The car itself, I have had it since the 23rd of December, 2011. So far I am very impressed! I have always driven a four door sedan. Infiniti G35x and others of the like. The 2005 G35x was most recent car. I think the Eclipse GS Syder 2007 handles the road better and feels more safe and stable in a curve at moderate speeds. I don't get the feeling that the car weight is shifting causing the car to tip in a curve. I could tell more. However, I'm not. For me being a safe and cautious driver but, when I know there aren't any other cars around so that I'm the only one that could get hurt I have a little fun with it. Just bc I haven't had it long so I want to see how it does. In my opinion it is a great car. For the price, well worth it. It is definitely one of the more inexpensive cars for maintenance and repair. I bought the 150,000 mile warranty. The car only had 40,000 miles as an 2007. I calculated MY average miles a year by the finance term of payoff. Personally I don't want to be actively paying for a vehicle and also have repair totals added.
