The convertible Spyder eclipse is the best purchase I have ever made, much less work than my college degrees and less up keep than my house. Having the top down on a nice day makes that 9-5 rat race so much more bearable and generally leaves me in a better mood + the v6 engine really gives you that extra boost when ever you need it.
Negatives: The truck space in minimal, the backseat is a joke it might as well be a 2 seater, when the top is up the back window is really small and visibility suffers, especially at night and in poor weather.
You will feel you need a runway instead of a driveway when you step on the gas pedal of this sleek beauty. Power you have yet to experience from an economical six cyl. engine designed for the open road as well as everyday city driving.
All the bells and whistles one could want, with a premium package that includes side air bags for extra safety, and a sound system that will blow you away if that is your pleasure. Press the button to quickly lower the fully powered top and enjoy. Hope you like being the center of attention as this car is an eye magnet. Sporty yet practical year round transportation, it will be like your first kiss. You will always remember it!
price was good purchased an 2007 with 29k miles, can't beat that!

Hugs the road when driven, if your looking for a convertible with style & are budget orientated, go for the Spyder ! I love this car, few drawbacks are the blind spot when top is up, doesn't make sharp turns for parking, a little hard to get in & out of, however it is a sports car...something to be expected..Love it, worth the minor things mentioned above!
While the last Mitsubishi Eclipse rolled off of the production line several years ago, you can still find this sleek and iconic little sports coupe in the market today. Americans enjoyed a 20-plus year love affair with this fun Japanese car and its powerful engines, sleek styling, and affordability.
