fun mitsubishi

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse enzo ferrari - wichita,ks. 01/09/2010

first thing you should know is that this eclipse wasn't my first choice of vehicles, i wanted a charger but could not afford one, so i bought this car mainly because i thought it was quite beautiful. the first time i drove it i knew i made the right choice, for only being a four cylinder this car was very peppy, its one of the most "fun" cars I've ever driven, and when my friends saw it they fell in love with it beauty. my eclipse is painted "sunset" metallic orange and has a billet grill, which is the only custom accessory on it, besides the alpine stereo, which is great, but not as impressive as the stock rockford fosgate 6 disc stereo that they replaced. my friend noticed that the tires were brand new ( still had orange stripe in the tread),and I'm amazed at the fact that after one week of driving i still have 3/4 tank of gas left. to get beauty and fuel efficiency all in one car is awesome. to sum up my thoughts the 2006 mitsubishi eclipse is a great car and a fun everyday driver.

I love it but, be careful

2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Air Jam - Daytona Beach, Fl 06/27/2008

I own a 2001 Spider 5 speed and although I love the car and waited years to get one there is a few problems....1st watch out for leaks these cars are famous for leaking windows (as mine is doing as we speak) also, if you are a tall person or have any kind of trouble bending then DONT get this car it is not easy to get in and out of...I am considering getting another Mitsubishi I really do love my car but, with no back seat for my new grand children well hands down the car On the good side this car can get out of its own way, takes coprners like no ones business and is great on gas. Overall it's a great car with little problems in performance and I would buy one again if the few problems it has was fixed by the maker.

Grinning Ear to Ear

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse Rob Z - Gainesville, GA 08/01/2011

I started looking for something that would give me get-up and go feeling in the seat of the pants in the $15 - $20k price range. I was also trying to have a back seat as we are a family of four. I tried several makes, including the Mustang GT when my Wife pointed me to the Eclipse GT. On my first test drive I came back all smiles. This car felt great and it would move. I was sold. After a little over a month I still LOVE this car. I have made a week trip putting just over 600 miles on it and had no problem setting for a tank of gas. The car averaged about 20mpg. Car details 06 Eclipse GT. 3.6l V6 (245hp), 6spd standard, 18 wheels, performance package, upgraded stereo, full auto AC, sun roof, leather power seats, Every option available Pros Eats miles with ease. Looks great inside and out. Gauge and control placement. Cons Road noise is a little high, Mileage could be better but a Cold Air Intake will give another 2 3mpg. Requires premium fuel. High power and front wheel drive = torque steer but OK once used to it.
