This is my 3rd Mitsubishi, and my 2nd Eclipse. I love this car! It is small so it gets great milage, and its small so it's FAST! The only thing from a design perspective is that there is a rough blindspot when the roof is up, but who puts the roof up! This is a great car, fun, safe, and did I say fun?! Love it!!
The Eclipse Spyder has been a reasonably good choice for me. I wanted a front-wheel drive convertible with enough of a back seat for the dog. My 4-cylinder model is zippy enough for my use, and I get lots of positive feedback about it's looks. For negatives, the passenger foot well is small, there's way too much plastic in the interior for the price (and it's started to buckle), it has a few odd creaks and weird noises, and the trunk is miniscule. My suitcase has to go in the back seat. Still, the car is pretty much what I was expecting it to be.
Awesome car for the price i looked at lots of cars before purchasing the eclipse and even though the gas milage suffers a bit its a great car plenty of power and comfort with an excellent stereo as well. love the heated seats
While the last Mitsubishi Eclipse rolled off of the production line several years ago, you can still find this sleek and iconic little sports coupe in the market today. Americans enjoyed a 20-plus year love affair with this fun Japanese car and its powerful engines, sleek styling, and affordability.
