I absolutely love my Galant! It's a nice car with great gas mileage and the power for a 4-cylinder isn't bad at all! I love the fact that it allows me to change to manual shift if I want to.
Drive this BEFORE you buy Toyota or Nissan!

This is a fantastic car. The only thing I wish was better is that it doesn't have the luxury feel. That's not to say it isn't nice, fit and finish is good and it is very comfortable. The blue inside lights are really nice.
MPG is about 16-20 which is fine for an SUV like this. You won't get better unless you go much smaller or Hybrid.
I've had it for about 3 years and still love it. The 6 disc changer did jam. That's it though. I took it in and got a 75thousand mile tune up and all I had to do is change some fluids an a few other things price...145 bucks. They didn't try and sell me 1000 things I didn't need.
We bought a new bed (head board rails foot bord) and two night stands and it all fit in the back! tons of room!. Back seat is great too.
You will fine this to be about 10 grand less than the other japanese auto makers and it is JUST as good!
One of the best things is that you don't see them every where. I like that, give it a chance.
