The Galant was the only mid-size car I found in my price range, and I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I like it. It has a lot of room inside for both front and rear passengers. It has comfortable seating all around. It drives and handles better than more expensive cars I have owned. Really the only things I don't like are related to the motor. Mine has the 2.4L 4-cylinder, and it is just not enough motor for this size car, and because the motor is working so hard to move the car around it doesn't get the kind of gas mileage we would expect from cars with small motors. Turn on the A/C and it feels downright sad. It's a shame really, because I really like everything else about the car, although a stereo aux input would be great.
Being a college student, this is a perfect vehicle for this stage in my life along with going beyond that point. It's very reliable, even in wintry conditions. It's decent on gas, and has solid performance. Not a supremely comfy vehicle due to the interior size, but still a great buy for it's price! On a scale of 1-10 for buying economy vehicle, I'd give it a 8.5.

Smooth ride, comfortable seats, easy to get in and out. Looks great. I had one minor problem with the car and no other problems.
