Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4 reviews) This is a great car to drive around the city. The cloth seats are comfortable, the controls are nice and easy, and the car looks slick too. The only downer is that it is only 4 cylinders. I would highly recommend it though.

Finally found MY car!

I recently had begun shopping for a new car. I had looked at literally every lot in central Indiana, I'm sure. As I commute daily, good fuel economy was a must. But I also wanted something that looked sporty and had a little class. Finally, last stop of the day I show up on a Sunday and looked through the lot. I found the Lancer. So I went home, did some homework on the car and decided it was just what I needed! I love driving this car, it fits me very well and it has a great balance of my major requirements for the purchase. An easy buying and trade in process made this a very pleasurable experience, and I am looking forwad to years ahead with my new-to-me car!

nice basic car

This car has a CVT. It will drift back, while in drive, on an incline. Acceleration from standing is delayed. Rapid highway acceleration can seem like being in a slingshot. Sometimes the automatic "shifting" feels unusual/out of synch. I would NOT recommend any CVT equipped vehicle for stop/go commuting or around town. For highway travel out of traffic, it's good. Personally, I'll stick to fully geared transmissions.
