The car is a 4 cylinder on steriods. Acceleration is phenominal, making 60mph in under 5 seconds. Never topped it out, but I've gotten her up to about 140mph, and she still had more to give. More fun to drive than my 350z, and just as fast. Handeling is laser precise, and braking is superb. Insurance is a little steep but for those of us that are older than 25, it shouldn't put too much of a dent in the wallet. The car is simply a joy to drive.
Great car for racing and daily

First this car is a racing car, if you don't like to race or drive fast please don't buy it, now if you buy it for the right reason then its amazing. I take my evo mr to the tracks to race drag strip. After beating 14 BMW me, 15 camaro z28 and 13 mustang 5.0 i knew this car is special. Mr has stock launch control which is amazing. Regular driving is like a toyota corolla, i had a corolla and its the same feeling. Not bad and not great on gas. Crusing i average 25mpg, regular driving i average 21mpg
I bought an 2012 EVO X from CarMax was a great machine.
Sold it back a year later for a Lexus IS-F. I'only regret the IS-f not a manual
If your Married and your mate does not like this car. they will force you to hate it.
The Evo handles like a race car, it hugs the road and feels every fault of the road.
Motor is powerful for it size, but i still feel bias to a 4 banger.
I would recommend this Evolution if you can't hold onto a two door coupe like a mustang or 370z. Be aware of the tires that come from the factory too expensive buy PS2. recommend two sets if you live in an area that snows. Also without modification this car sounds very boring in the cabin and tends to have two much body lean for the feedback you get from the road.
