I recently traded in my Suzuki (great car, by the way) and test drove a Mitsubishi Lancer ES. It was great, very peppy but I could still maintain a decent speed... It's very comfortable for my commute in that I drive almost 65 miles a day, and it is so quiet.. I don't have to blare my radio whenever a semi passes me on the highway. The only thing I do not like about the car is the dash... for the beauty of the car, the radio and environment controls are incredibly dull; they don't seem to fit the overall appearance of the car.
I haven't ever owned a Mitsu, but I have had a Suzuki in the past (my baby!) and I can only hope that the dependability matches the Suzuki. From what I've read, it seems pretty secure to say it will.
Great car for racing and daily

First this car is a racing car, if you don't like to race or drive fast please don't buy it, now if you buy it for the right reason then its amazing. I take my evo mr to the tracks to race drag strip. After beating 14 BMW me, 15 camaro z28 and 13 mustang 5.0 i knew this car is special. Mr has stock launch control which is amazing. Regular driving is like a toyota corolla, i had a corolla and its the same feeling. Not bad and not great on gas. Crusing i average 25mpg, regular driving i average 21mpg
