Acceleration from standing is delayed. Rapid highway acceleration can seem like being in a slingshot. Sometimes the automatic "shifting" feels unusual/out of synch. I would NOT recommend any CVT equipped vehicle for stop/go commuting or around town. For highway travel out of traffic, it's good. Personally, I'll stick to fully geared transmissions.

I take my evo mr to the tracks to race drag strip. After beating 14 BMW me, 15 camaro z28 and 13 mustang 5.0 i knew this car is special. Mr has stock launch control which is amazing. Regular driving is like a toyota corolla, i had a corolla and its the same feeling. Not bad and not great on gas. Crusing i average 25mpg, regular driving i average 21mpg

Well performing car for the money

Haven't replaced brakes yet since purchase new in 2010 labor day. Low cost of maintenance overall, but many owners forget about the CVT Transmission fluid servicing every 50k miles. Not the best for long distance drives, but for a daily work commute it gets the job done well. Also, I love the handling in this car and how it handles the elements very well.

love this car

Overall the car is a blast. Comfortable to drive and very sporty. It is average when your just cruising then when you hit the gas pedal it let's loose. It is very fun to drive fits my family and when I feel the need to just pick up speed it does it flawlessly.
