Great Value

I will start with the exterior: It looks great, I have the diamond white and it absolutely gleams in the sunlight. the styling is modern and aggressive, something that I find looks fantastic. The lines are fairly smooth however and there are few areas that dirt and bugs get lodged that cannot be easily washed. The only downside is the materials used to make the exterior. The metal (in the places it is really metal) is rather thin and looks prone to denting fairly easily. Other areas that might be expected to be made of sheet metal are made of plastic, which is generally fine if you don't mind the feeling when you wash and wax your car. It is not easily noticed from afar (or even that close of an inspection if you are just looking). Performance: It performs as expected. You can tell there is a 4 cylinder engine under that thin metal hood, but it moves the car along just fine. The CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) is loud when first getting up to speed, but levels off to normal levels after you begin to cruise along. It rides very smooth on the highway and even around town it does a great job of getting you where you need to go. The shifts are smooth (mostly because it doesn't really "shift" in a normal sense) and the sport mode is nice for highway driving where you might want a little more control over when you cruise down the road, up a small incline, etc. The advantages of the 4 cylinder and the CVT are great great gas milage, great gas milage, and did I mention that I fill it up only twice a month due to the great gas milage? Life is full of trade-offs and this is one that is well worth it in every way. Interior: In two words It Works. Its not premium by any stretch, it has a cheapish felt-like ceiling lining, and the sun visors are covered in a plasticky vinyl. Its not all bad however. The steering wheel has a nice leather covering and the seats are a comfortable and breathable black fabric. The hands free system works as advertised, its all voice controlled though (even the setup and such) which can be tedious at times. The radio sounds good in the front, while in the back its passable. The driver and passenger seats are nice, plenty of legroom, while the back is a little squished for adults, though kids should fit with room to spare. The cargo area is plenty big for most peoples needs, tall enough to fit most large totes and the cargo net holds small things in place. Overall Impressions: This is no luxury car, but its not sold as one either. It is a great car for the price, loaded with features and comfortable to drive. You can often find where compromises were made to cut down on the cost, but overall they are small things (thinner metal, cheaper interior materials in some places, etc) However the fuel economy and price make this a very good car to keep an eye on. It is a great value and I would recommend this to anyone that is considering it.

Awesome small SUV at an amazing price

Great small commuter SUV. Sporty enough to look cool, with great handling. Gas millage is actually fairly close to what's advertised. Comfortable for it's size.
