Used 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale
Reviews for 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander
Loving this car! Family of 5 and growing!
We needed to upgrade to a larger family vehicle with our growing family, I didn't however want to drive a tank! The Outlander rides like a car, very smooth! more than plenty of room! Very nice features! We bought the base model for budget reasons and it still has the leatherette seats, Bluetooth, tow hitch, three rows, 2WD, 4WD and 4WD Lock! When driving in 2WD it is front wheel instead of rear wheel which makes me feel more comfortable!
First Carmax purchase
After six months, I think this car is still fun to drive and a good choice to move into the crossover market. The highway mileage has been very close to estimated MPGs. It's fairly comfy on drives over three hours, although I use a bath towel for some lumbar support. The support for audio and power for MP3 and IPod connections works very well, especially if you don't have the USB port. The upper and lower glove boxes are a convenient feature for hiding and locking valuables out of sight, even a wallet or small purse. Cruise control is very responsive on the highway and the car has great pickup, more than adequate for most drivers. The rear space is adequate for a lot of travel needs, even my full size road bike with the rear seats folded up. It was difficult to find a compatible bike rack for this vehicle. A hitch mount would have been nice. Driving w/windows open is annoying, even at low speeds, unless you have three windows open (two rear windows seem to create lots of noise and your ears feel like they need to pop). Engine light seems very sensitive to the gas cap closure. The look of this car grows on you. This is my second used car and first w/Carmax. As long as they have quality vehicles, I would buy here again, no pressure.
Solid economy SUV
Bought the model SE as my Town and Country were stolen and I needed to get my lovely wife into something with automatic transmission. For a mid-small SUV, this 4 cylinder has good pickup and very good economy. Engine whines so I turn up the radio. I've grown to love the paddle shifters as I challenge myself to not hit the brakes. I think it's stylish, and the fit and finish are good. Interior fabrics are somewhat cheap but holding up well after 6 months of abuse. Don't get the black interior unless you are immaculate. It's hard to clean to that new look. Seats are fairly comfortable though a little stiff. View lines are great (funky rear mirror design!) There is road noise, particularly from the windows, even when closed. All told, a solid mid sized SUV.
