Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Red Average Vehicle Review: (4.577 reviews) Do not purchase this car. It has a steering lock failure that will cost you around $1000 to fix and will leave you stranded. When Nissan made the car they knew it was going to have this problem because they put it in the owners manual under Instruments and controls 2-13. I am currently fighting with Nissan to reimburse me for the expenses that it has cost me to get my car working again. I bought this car in hopes of having a reliable vehicle but it left me stranded as well as hundreds of other people as I researched this issue more on the internet.

So when you're stuck in traffic and the pump starts beeping and whining, it's enough to make you want to scream. Nissan dealerships refuse to fix it. Major disappointment.

About the Nissan Altima Coupe

Vehicle Summary

The Nissan Altima has been in production since 1992 when it debuted as a practical compact car. Beginning with the fourth generation of production (2008-2013), Nissan offered a coupe version of its popular Altima model. The Nissan Altima Coupe was offered from 2007-2013 before it was discontinued. This unique coupe combined a sleek profile with a shortened wheelbase for a sporty ride, and may be a great vehicle choice for those looking for a speedy yet spacious coupe.

While the Altima Coupe is no longer produced today, used models remain on the market and Nissan now offers a 370Z® Coupe with a reminiscent design.

Nissan Altima Coupe vs. Other Midsize Sedans

A coupe-style car like the Nissan Altima Coupe can be a practical choice, but for easier access to the rear row, some may prefer a sedan. As you consider your next vehicle, check out how the Altima Coupe compares to a few midsize sedans.

Nissan Altima Coupe vs. Toyota Camry - The 2013 Toyota Camry is a five-passenger sedan offered in four trim levels. A 2.5L four-cylinder engine at 178 hp is standard, as is such equipment as 16-inch steel wheels, Bluetooth® connectivity, a six-speaker sound system, and HD/satellite radio. The 2013 Camry offers plenty of comfortable seating in both its front and rear rows, as well as a large trunk measuring 15.4 cubic feet.

Nissan Altima Coupe vs. Honda Accord - The 2013 Accord is offered in both sedan and coupe body styles, both of which come standard with a 2.4L four-cylinder engine. However, a more powerful 3.5L V6 is optional on both the sedan and coupe for those who want more power under the hood. The Accord saw a complete redesign for the 2013 model year, so you'll also find more standard equipment even in the base trim; this includes automatic dual-zone climate control, an eight-inch display screen, Bluetooth® connectivity, and a rearview camera. Meanwhile, both the Accord sedan and coupe offer spacious trunks. The sedan's trunk measures 15.8 cubic feet, whereas the coupe's maxes out at 13.4 cubic feet.

Nissan Altima Coupe vs. Ford Fusion - The 2013 Ford Fusion is one of just a handful of midsize sedans offering optional all-wheel drive, though it is worth noting that this feature is only offered in the top-tier turbocharged 2.0L engine; otherwise, all other 2013 Ford Fusion models come standard with front-wheel drive. Even in the 2013 Fusion's base S trim, however, you'll enjoy a 2.5L four-cylinder engine at 175 hp and other standard features, such as blind-spot monitoring, keyless entry, full power accessories, Sync audio and smartphone interface, and 16-inch steel wheels. The 2013 Fusion also offers one of the larger trunks in its class, measuring a full 16 cubic feet.

Solid runner!

After three months of researching vehicle reviews, statistics, and visits to dealerships and test drives I saved the Altima for last because it was the vehicle that I was considering the most, (color, 4cyl, leg and head room, and other accoutrements). I can share that my research has paid off and in the short time that I have owned my Altima I am really pleased.

Not so great

It's really a great car but there's a problem with the power steering pump that causes it to make a high pitched beeping noise at low speeds. So when you're stuck in traffic and the pump starts beeping and whining, it's enough to make you want to scream. Nissan dealerships refuse to fix it. Major disappointment.
