Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.154 reviews) I almost passed this car by in my search. Am I glad I didn't. My heart wants a sports car. My family needed a practical car. This car is both. The v-6 is powerful, the handling responsive, the interior comfortable and secure feeling. The gas mileage is averaging just over 25 mpg with about 1/3 highway miles. And my lead foot. Is acceptable in snowy conditions, but isn't all wheel drive, so that's to be expected. Other car is a Mazda cx-5. My daughter calls that one zoom zoom. She calls my Altima vroom vroom. It is seriously a performance car hiding in a family car. Better than a 14 mustang v-6 convertible we rented on vacation as far as performance. And much more practical. I love it, only wish mine had premium audio.

Blah

The car looks nice, but it's overpriced for the problems it has. I just hit 40,000 miles and started having issues with the tranny. The car jerks repeatedly in stop and go traffic. Small backseat compared to competition. Cvt is definitely an acquired taste.

One of the best!

I owned this car for three years. It was a wonderful vehicle; completely reliable and has a high resale value. In fact, they depreciate slower than almost any comparable car out there. The Altima was reliable, smooth, fast, and worked beautifully. I would recommend this car to anyone and everyone! One caveat is that it isn't the best in the snow. However, with the right snow tires, it would drive very well.
