Used Nissan Altima SV black exterior for Sale
Reviews for Nissan Altima
Sporty yet practical car to own.
It has been trouble free and it is fun to drive. My previous car was a Crossfire, so it is a step downward in the fun department but it is a good compromise between fun an practical. It has a decent trunk, full size spare, and plenty of power with the 3.5 engine. The CVT transmission is very responsive, but not as fun as a six speed stick. I am not a front wheel drive kind of guy, but I must admit it is a real advantage in the snow and ice..
ultimately go with the Altima
I almost passed this car by in my search. Am I glad I didn't. My heart wants a sports car. My family needed a practical car. This car is both. The v-6 is powerful, the handling responsive, the interior comfortable and secure feeling. The gas mileage is averaging just over 25 mpg with about 1/3 highway miles. And my lead foot. Is acceptable in snowy conditions, but isn't all wheel drive, so that's to be expected. Other car is a Mazda cx-5. My daughter calls that one zoom zoom. She calls my Altima vroom vroom. It is seriously a performance car hiding in a family car. Better than a 14 mustang v-6 convertible we rented on vacation as far as performance. And much more practical. I love it, only wish mine had premium audio.
Worst driving conditions
I was stuck last Saturday in Churchville Md. In a snow storm. Took I95 to White Marsh exit, took 3 hours. All sorts of card stranded, sliding, having trouble up hills. I was able to get home safely in my Altima. It performed much better than the BMWs and Infinitis I passed. This was y first time driving my new car in these conditions. I was very happy to have been driving it. I had my two year old grandson and my daughterinlaw in car. She told me later that she was impressed with the cars handling. The traction control kicked in many times, but we were safe.
