Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.611 reviews) Would I recommend it? Yes and no. It's a great little car. Very reliable, but there are some safety concerns. The blind spots are terrible! You have to look triple time to make sure you can change lanes safely. There are no blind spot detectors installed on this vehicle. You sit very low and sometimes the side mirror actually obscures your view, as well as the pillar on the drivers side. The seats are basically "racing" seats, so not very comfortable.

Worst driving conditions

I was stuck last Saturday in Churchville Md. In a snow storm. Took I95 to White Marsh exit, took 3 hours. All sorts of card stranded, sliding, having trouble up hills. I was able to get home safely in my Altima. It performed much better than the BMWs and Infinitis I passed. This was y first time driving my new car in these conditions. I was very happy to have been driving it. I had my two year old grandson and my daughterinlaw in car. She told me later that she was impressed with the cars handling. The traction control kicked in many times, but we were safe.

Black Beauty!

This Altima has plenty of room and power. It's deceptively quick. Definitely a "sleeper ". Great performance and handling. Smooth engine and transmission. I was originally going to buy an Infiniti G37, but after a test drive I decided to go with the larger Altima. It has more interior room and looks very sporty. Even though it's rated at 270 horsepower(vs 328 in the G37) it's just as quick. The only thing that I don't like so far are the cheap Nexen all-season tires it came with. They are good for normal driving, but definitely not great for the performance this car has.
