Love them. Big, spacious, powerful, 4WD. I have been in places I should not have been, but my 4WD Armada's have never hesitated. Low maintainance and high reliability. Exactly what I need for my family. Nothing like them.

We rented a compact car on a trip but were upgraded to the Armada and are grateful we had this vehicle. We were involved in a hit and run accident where the minivan that hit us was going at least 15 MPH faster than we were. The driver that hit us swerved at the last second and caught the left rear corner of the Armada. We felt the bump but did not realize we had actually been hit until the minivan went flying by the left side of the Armada. This thing is a tank. The accident took out the left side tail lights, dented the heavy chrome bumper under the plastic cap (that was nowhere to be found) and pushed in the rear quarter panel in 3 to 4inches from its normal position along the left side for the rear edge to the middle of the wheel well and wrinkled the panel all the way to the rear passenger door and also clipper the tire. The Armada still tracked straight and ran with no problems. This is not your normal review but if you are looking for a safe vehicle this is it. I do not own one now but am considering replacing my mid-size SUV with an Armada.
So far it has been perfect for our family of 6. We bought one with a DVD system which has been amazing on trips, however, it didn't come with a remote and it wouldn't work without, easy fix though. It's roomy and great to drive and love that we have the 4WD option for when it starts to snow. I have so far had no complaints about this car.
When you need a vehicle that can handle everything from big crowds to high towing demands, a full-size SUV fits the bill. Begin your search for the best full size SUV by checking our list of best large SUVs, based on CarMax sales data from November 1 through May 31.
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
