2012 Nissan FrontierMike - Kansas City, MO09/09/2014
I purchased the truck primarily for it's towing capacity. I bought a new 30ft travel trailer weighing almost 6000 lbs. The Frontier was the perfect choice. Options with a greater towing capacity were several thousands more. The Frontier offered all the upgrades/options I was looking for without the higher pricetag.
My Frontier is a rock star!
2014 Nissan FrontierWilliam Johnston - Saint Louis, MO06/13/2017
- the truck is more than capable of light to medium towing and hauling
- four wheel drive works great
- cargo trak is a great feature
- back up camera is great for trailer hook ups
- no locking dif
- cargo trak parts are very expensive
- interior cargo room is limited with extended cab
With the backup camera, it is easier to park than a full-size truck, but you sit up higher than a car so still have a truck feel. It has a tonneau cover, so items can be relatively securely stored in the bed. For Interstate driving where cruise control is appropriate, it appears to have enough power to drive through mountains. The four-wheel drive is easy to turn on and off.
