Nimble

With the backup camera, it is easier to park than a full-size truck, but you sit up higher than a car so still have a truck feel. It has a tonneau cover, so items can be relatively securely stored in the bed. For Interstate driving where cruise control is appropriate, it appears to have enough power to drive through mountains. The four-wheel drive is easy to turn on and off.

2012 Nissan Frontier SL 4x4

I have about 1100 miles on the truck so far and am very pleased. The truck is just what I expected. Quality appears excellent. Interior ride and feel is perfect for me. I am averaging 16.5 mpg, mix of city and highway. I knew going in the mileage was not a strong point and am not dissappointed but hope that as the truck breaks in, I will get better. I am surprised at how strong the engine is. I also read reviews about a large turning circle, but I have not found this to be a problem at all. One reason I purchased the 2012 (rather than wait for a redesign) was because the Frontier was rated so high and the design has been around for a while. Tried and true, so I expect few problems. Time will tell...

Riding High

Purchased 4 cylinder Frontier in November 07 after owning 2 small engine Tacomas and have been pleasantly surprised ever since. I enjoy the improved mileage, power, comfort and style but am most impressed with the height of cab and the improved command of road vision without driving a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Handling will improve after a few months of solid driving as will realization that gas and brake pedals are close together. Retired, Valpo, IN
