a solid truck with excellent performance good ergonomics for front passengers. the ride is tolerable and handling is quite precise for a truck. fuel economy is not too bad if you don't drive too hard.
cheap interior materials age quickly. I had this truck into the dealer for some squeaks/rattles and electrical problems in the first year.
otherwise nissan has built another great truck with lots of standard features, just right sizing and at a very competitive price.
Frontier is a Great Ride
2007 Nissan FrontierBig Shad - Land O' Lakes, FL09/11/2012
The Nissan Frontier is a great ride and a handy hauler. You give up some space in the bed, but what you get inside is well worth the sacrifice. The Frontier rides like a luxury car, yet handles extremely well. Everything, the doors, windows, hinges, everything, is tight and precise, all the way around. I couldn't be happier.
Just bought a 2007 Nissan 4 door Frontier. It gets about 1 to 2 miles more per gallon of gas than my old 2003 Chevy Silverado but feels like it has much more power. Wish it sat higher as I constantly bump my head on the top of the door frame everytime I get something out of the rear doors and the turning radius is terrible. Where I used to be able to make "U" turns with my old truck has now become 3 point turns. Going from a large truck to a smaller truck will just take some getting used to, but over all I'm satisfied. I should also mention regarding the 3 point turn issue that my Nissan is a 4 door long bed truck. Perhaps the short bed version wouldn't be as bad.
