This car is perfect for my needs. It has a range of about 70 miles on a full charge, which works very well for me. I don't usually need to go much further in a day. When I do need to travel I can rent a car. The interior is spacious for all passengers, the rear has a lot of space, too, and I can fit longer objects with no problem. Its a great car!
I LOVE my Leaf!
2013 Nissan LeafMerri T - Decatur, GA05/12/2016
After driving a Leaf, it would be hard for my to go back to driving a gas car. It drives so smoothly, it is such a beautiful car with such great features (heated seats, wonderful sound system, dependable, virtually no maintenance whatsoever). My only wish is that Nissan would offer batteries with longer millage so I can take my wonderful car with me on longer trips! My daily commute is minimal and I come from a two car home, so this is the perfect car for me. If you have a long drive I would recommend a hybrid, but EVs are the best--they have speed, they absolutely glide, are perfectly quiet, and really cut your costs as far as upkeep goes. All of this and you can feel good about making a choice that is also environmentally friendly.
Great electric car for short commutes and around t
The Leaf is surprisingly fun to drive and much more spacious than I would have expected for an electric vehicle. I love not needing to fill up on gas and there are many places to charge near where I live. The only downside is the range; I easily get 80+ miles per charge, but that number goes down if you drive a lot on the highway or use the heat or A/C.
The Nissan LEAF carries up to five passengers, and the latest models have an effective range of over 100 miles on a single charge.* With an average price of $10,000 or less at CarMax, this daily driver is one of our most popular electric vehicles.
