2012 Nissan LeafGemma Smith - Houston, TX05/21/2016
Quiet, smooth, reliable ride. Smooth is a huge issue in Houston where the roads are anything but smooth. I charge the car at night and it has a full 84 miles when I leave. Running a/c or heat will decrease the mileage as will high speeds but I live only 10 miles from work and everywhere I go is within 10 -15 miles from home so its great for me. I don't really like having to watch the miles if I have a lot of errands but I have never gotten really low even on my busiest day. I haven't noticed any change in my electric bill so I am pretty happy overall.
Great electric car for short commutes and around t
The Leaf is surprisingly fun to drive and much more spacious than I would have expected for an electric vehicle. I love not needing to fill up on gas and there are many places to charge near where I live. The only downside is the range; I easily get 80+ miles per charge, but that number goes down if you drive a lot on the highway or use the heat or A/C.
You need to drive it............

This is the first hybrid I've ever had and it's really amazing as to how much it's like a regular vehicle. The quality of the vehicle would make you think it's a much more expensive car. The SL has most everything Nissan has to offer on this vehicle, which again makes it seem like a more expensive car. What's really nice is, you never have to stop for GAS.
It takes a little time to figure out the distance you can drive on a charge using the different features, lights/heater/air conditioner etc. but you figure it out.
Using the 120V charger takes longer to charge so the 220V is in the plan......
