Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) Assuming one is looking for an in-town commuter vehicle, and the range of 80 miles/charge isn't a problem, this is an excellent vehicle. I drive 8-9 miles to work and 8-9 miles back home 5 days/week. As a second car this gets modest use and we have another for highway travelling. My needs seem to fit well with what this car is optimized to do.

No gas or oil changes, and no wasted time at the gas station. Gets about 75 miles on a full charge. I usually put about 40 miles per day on mine, and charge it off of 110 (standard outlet) and it takes about 8 hours to charge, while I'm sleeping.

2011 Nissan Leaf - All Electric car

Don't need to buy gasoline, super quiet, very comfortable drive, almost no maintenance. Fantastic for driving around the city, as long as you don't need to drive more than 85 miles per day. Need to buy a used Leaf as the prices are great, about 1/3 price of new one. Extremely happy with my purchase
