Maxima

2008 Nissan Maxima Richboy - Lawrenceville,GA 07/12/2012

This car is supurb! It handles Great rides smooth and is well worth the money. For a sports car it still gives you the family room and comfort.

The 2008 Maxima

2008 Nissan Maxima MICHELLE - VIRGINIA 01/17/2011

I love the sporty-style and comfort of my Maxima. I had a 2001 before this and the 2008 is a great car. It has too many features to mention each one but has everything to create a very comfortable driving experience as well as excellent safety. Great handling as well as fuel economy.

best of both worlds

2008 Nissan Maxima redline it - Washington, DC 01/26/2012

This is my second Maxima '08 SE fully loaded and I am even more impressed with the overall package you get with this car! First Maxima was a '98 GLE loaded and as much as I loved that one, this takes the cake, hands down! This is one of the few cars out there that confidently balances performance, luxury, passenger/trunk space and value for your money. This car WILL get away from you if you aren't careful! It will go as fast as you could ever want to go. It is constantly begging for more throttle and with the cvt, the car surges forward immediately with a satisfying, steady growl that reassures you that you're driving no ordinary sedan, especially with K&N air filter. There are no annoying, bone jarring jolts when the transmission changes gears, just steady exhilarating power. You will need a radar detector if you plan on driving this car the way it was designed to be driven! This car handles much better than you think a front wheel drive full size sedan would. My wife is always telling me to slow down on curves but, from the driver's seat I know I am in full control. My wife and I are always fighting over who gets to drive. Even on a long trip (15 hrs or more), this car doesn't beat you to death. In spite of the sports suspension for SE models, it is very forgiving on the long haul. Bose audio will make you feel like you have subwoofers in the trunk! The car has 50k on it and I've only replaced the battery. I will be buying another Maxima in the future! this car gets 5 stars!

Design & Performance

As the last model year in its generation, the 2008 Maxima's sporty exterior is undisputed. It's built to be flashy, stylish and noticeable, though under the hood, its continuously automatic transmission (CVT) is holding the 2008 Maxima's performance from being a better match its sports car looks.
