Transmission: Automatic Color:Blue Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.692 reviews) Aside from being a beautiful looking car I love the way it drives. The CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) makes it ride so smooth and you can feel the extra power as soon as you give it gas. I love the keyless start and the interior is very comfortable for long trips.

Family and fun

Just like it says on the window sticker, this is a four door sports car. Plenty of room for the rear passengers, and plenty of trunk space. A 3.5L V6 that puts out 290hp coupled with a variable transmission will press you against the seat. The interior is very comfortable. The cloth seats have a texture similar to suede, and the dashboard materials are solid. The standard model is low on gadgets, but has all the essentials plus the luxury of a sun roof. The radio is wonderfully loud, with many speakers and a 6 CD changer that can play MP3's burned to a data CD, or hook in an external MP3 player though the Auxiliary connection. (There is no USB connection.) Bluetooth for hands free phone is a nice feature, with voice recognition for calling out. The styling on the 2011 presents an aggressive stance with smooth lines. Gas millage is not the best. I get an average of 22mpg with mixed highway and city. The continuously variable transmission has three modes: Normal, Sporty and 'Manual'. The normal mode gets the best gas millage. Sporty and Manual are more fun.

Awesome Car

I never really liked to drive import sedans....but driving the 2011 Maxima changed all that. GREAT CAR!!, it looks great, has a smooth ride and hauls like frieght train.

2011 Maxima Nissan

LOVE LOVE LOVE MY MAX!! I can't think of any other option that I would want that isn't on this Maxima. This is my second Maxima and WOW have they upgraded since 1993. If there is anything I would change it would be for the outside temp to be displayed someplace continuous rather than the need to toggle to see the current temperature. And the second thing, the side mirror adjustment is a little low as it is on the dash (low) as opposed to being on the door.
