luxury sportsutility that drives like a car not like an suv.perfect size to feel safe in to drive
We traded in our Yukon for this car because we still wanted space for our new arrival in a few months, but we wanted a better value and an easier driving experience, and the Nissan Murano has delivered all around. It drives like a car and the back seats fold down completely so we can fit a lot of stuff in the back (a crib, dresser and a twin mattress!) The only complaint I have about this Nissan model is the navigation system. It isn't a touch screen, there is a knob that you have to select letters/numbers from a list and it takes forever to input anything that I never use it (I just use the nav option on my cell phone). The back up camera is a feature I have never had before and wasn't really looking for, but it has really come in handy and I love it! Overall a great buy and we couldn't be happier!
Due to my old car dying I was somewhat forced into buying a new car. After reading reviews of all kinds of suv's and crossovers I decided on the Murano. I test drove the Ford Edge and the Mazda CX-7 and the Murano just seemed better built. I have been amazed at how fun the Murano is to drive. I find my self zipping in and out of traffic and was actually excited to go to work because it meant I got to drive. The interior is nice with little compartments and storgae pockets all over. The back cargo area is a little small but I easily haul around my 2 Dobermans. The rear seats recline which my passengers really appreciate. The gas mileage is good but not great I average about 18-20 city and 22-25 highway but I do drive with a heavy foot. I am still not in love with the exterior looks of the car but I get lots of compliments so a lot of people really like it. I feel I now have a dependable fun to drive vehicle that will last as long as I want to keep it.
