2006 Nissan MuranoDisappointed Gal - scottsdale,az12/03/2008
I bought my 2006 Murano new, i loved the appearance but have been disapointed in quality. Many plastic parts already falling apart, has been in shop 3 x in 2 weeks for various problems. Remote keyless entry failing, fuel sensors failed and now power steering hoses broken. Car is not even 3 years old and falling apart. This is my 3rd nissan and the worst yet. Time to move on to another maker.
Murano welcome surprise

Due to my old car dying I was somewhat forced into buying a new car. After reading reviews of all kinds of suv's and crossovers I decided on the Murano. I test drove the Ford Edge and the Mazda CX-7 and the Murano just seemed better built. I have been amazed at how fun the Murano is to drive. I find my self zipping in and out of traffic and was actually excited to go to work because it meant I got to drive. The interior is nice with little compartments and storgae pockets all over. The back cargo area is a little small but I easily haul around my 2 Dobermans. The rear seats recline which my passengers really appreciate. The gas mileage is good but not great I average about 18-20 city and 22-25 highway but I do drive with a heavy foot. I am still not in love with the exterior looks of the car but I get lots of compliments so a lot of people really like it. I feel I now have a dependable fun to drive vehicle that will last as long as I want to keep it.
