Here are my observations: 1. The car: Love it. We went with the intent of buying a different car but fell in love with the Murano. It is the SL model but it had most of the "upgrades" the SE has. The dual sun roof was a big hit with the family. Performance is very good, especially at high speed when trying to pass. Comfort is excellent, including the back seats and the ride is very smooth, much better than some standard size SUVs (which we also have). Mileage is about 21-23 mpg, but it has been mostly city driving. We have not taken any long trips yet, and we expect to see better mileage then. The only bad observation I've seen so far is the acceleration from stop, which seems a little sluggish, but then picks up quickly. Would highly recommend it. 2. Carmax: This was our first experience with Carmax (Dulles, VA). In a nutshell, it was a very pleasant experience from start to end. Their pricepoints were competitive. Only issue was my car trade in, for which they did not give me the price I expected (understanding it had very high mileage.) I had it estimated by other places before I went to Carmax, and considering all the factors, the average trade in value was about $1200 more than what Carmax offered. So I had to shell out more money for the down payment. Other than that, I would go back again to Carmax to shop for another car.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.529 reviews) I had been searching for about a year as we had time before we needed to replace my wife's car. I went through alot of different vehicles like the 4runner, Tuscon, Acadia, and Edge. My main criteria was good MPG and maximum hi-tech value. Tech The Murano beat all of them, virtually hands down. Largest navigation screen in its class, check. Largest music storage device, check. Bluetooth with address book transfer, check. Voice activated controls, check. Most advanced rear camera parking system, check. Power lift gate AND Power down/lift rear seats, double check. Comfort Besides the tech features, I found that comfort seemed to be the primary goal. The cabin is spacious, I feel like I'm in a cavern and expect to hear echoes. It has an air recirculation system that operates very well, maintain a very comfortable environment. The seats are very wide, which is great for me as I'm 6'1. I could use a couple more inches for leg room but its not a huge deal and my wife is the primary driver. The ride is very smooth and when you have a conversation, its like youre at home as it is very quiet in the cabin. Performance The performance really took me off guard. I barely tap the gas pedal and off I go as a really good clip, even at higher speeds. Recently I was on a 70mph highway and needed to go around a semi-truck. I pushed the pedal and before I realized it, I had zoomed up to 80mph and cleanly went around and pulled in front of the semi-truck. Very fun. Summary Overall, a very good vehicle that has a history of being a long lasting and comfortable ride. I'm looking forward to the next 100K or so of miles."

Love this car!

This is the 2nd Murano I have owned. The LE is so much nicer than my previous SL, worth the extra cost for the comfort and amenities. The interior changed for the better from the 2006 and 2007 model years to the 2009. The 2006 and 2007 are nearly identical inside, but the 2009 has an ipod connection which is very nice, and mine came with satellite radio. I test drove several other vehicles in the class and none drove as nice as the Murano for the price.

The first Nissan I've ever had, I love it...

Because it's a great car, roomy, fast, and it has all the gadget I need, the only issue is that it's Bluetooth don't work with media and it works only as a phone...
