2011 Nissan MuranoPat - Elk Grove Village IL, IL01/30/2015
I had a larger SUV (Dodge Durango), it was hard to park and a gas hog. The Murano is smaller, so more nimble and easier on gas. The SL is the luxery edition, and it has amazing features I love, like heated seats and steering wheel. The hatch opens and closes at a touch of a button. The wipers have a sensor that starts and stops when it is raining lightly, or if a car passes you and throws slush on the windshield. The GPS is the 3rd on I have had experience with, and the best by far, announcing the turns well in advance, then a second time, and a chime when at the point to turn.
I needed a new car with more room and was safer for the mountains. I love in Denver, CO, so I needed more room for : snowboards, dogs, camping and mountain bikes.
Pros: spacious, drives well, amazing in the mountains, good on gas, I love all the technology and options.
Cons: my usb charger/plug-in doesn't seem to have a good connection, granted this car was used when I purchased it, so I don't know if its an issue from the previous owner.
I'd highly suggest buying this car!!!!
My Murano goes everywhere!

I like the comfort of this vehicle. Taking 8 hour trips and not having a hurt back or legs is essential and the Murano delivers. I've been up through the mountains with ease through the snow and hills. The Murano travels great down the freeways into the deserts of Arizona. The navigation is ok. But it could use an update. Although this is a 2011 so it was probably the best at the time. I like the ease of opening the rear door and unlocking / locking without having to use a key. there is plenty of room for taking along everything when traveling and it's easy to lay the pack seats down to haul big loads. Done it all! Functional, stylish good fuel economy and still has the power of a V6 with AWD. Most suv's have 4cyl with no power. I love it!
Many drivers who want a best crossover seek out one of the popular vehicles on this list. Why the big deal about a crossover SUV? It’s the solid mix of roomy interior and a smaller size that fits in plenty of parking spaces.
