I absolutely love the pathfinder, so glad I made the decision to get it. The only thing I have a problem with is the driver side mirror doesn't stay in place have to adjust it whenever I get in, and the second thing is I can't change the clock, will have to bring it in and see what I need to be doing. It gets good gas mileage, the comfort is excellant, and I love the look of the vehicle. Great choice on my part and being a woman doing it by myself I am very proud of my decision.
This car is large and the ride is okay, but it is missing so much of the basics that a luxury car should have, It does not remind you to put on your seat belt, it doesn't lock automatically, the rear view mirrors to not adjust, the back door does not open and close must of the time like it should, the remote does not start the car unless it is close to the no key entry most of the time, if you heat the driver's seat you also heat the passenger's seat as well, the nagivation system doesn't work in all states. It doesn't give information for MS and I live 15 minutes from MS in TN. I can go on and on.
I bought the Pathfinder as a replacement for a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer that had become unreliable. The Pathfinder offers a 3rd row of seats and ventilation controls in the ceiling for passenger comfort. Access to the 3rd row is very easy. All you have to do is pull a lever on one of the second row seats and they tumble forward and out of the way. The 3rd row seats are rather small and should only be used for children, but it is a nice feature when visiting family. It allows my sister's family and us to travel in one vehicle rather than two. The cargo area is covered in a plastic material that holds up well to abuse. Just be careful when sliding materials inside that can scratch the plastic. The driving experience is much better than it was in the trailblazer. The steering is much more communicative and precise. The suspension is much tighter and respondes well to road imperfections. The 4.0L V6 has plenty of power for hauling around a car full of passengers or a weekends worth projects in a trailer. The four wheel driver system has worked perfectly with no problems. The vehicle is just right for people looking for something that is a little more robust and can handle so medium duty towing than your typical crossover.
