Customer Review Summary for Nissan Quest
Back to the Future
2006 Nissan QuestPianobear - Fort Worth, TX11/16/2006
My wife and I are 3rd generation Quest owners, having owned a 1994 and 2000 model prior to purchasing the 2006 Quest. We were initially hesitant to purchase a center-dash vehicle, and were also concerned about the thin padding on the seats and the heat factor of the multiple sunroofs. I am happy to say the center-dash was not hard to adjust to at all. The seat padding has not been an issue. (We opted for leather seating, which helped.) The vehicle we purchased did not have the multiple sunroofs, which is a benefit in Texas heat. Gas mileage is not great, but the vehicle fits our family size and lifestyle. One neat feature is the rear-facing camera that shows what is behind you before you back up. Things I would change about our particular vehicle: 1. location of the dvd player under the front passenger seat is inconvenient. 2. The model we got does not have auto headlamps and we miss that feature. 3. The center console cup holders are too tight for some cups because of the way the grips are made. Overall, we are happy with our purchase.
I am thoroughly pleased with our purchase. There is tons of interior room. The seats are wide and very comfortable. It took my wife and I a few days to get used to all the dashboard gauges having been placed in the middle, but now it is second nature. The van sits low to the ground, so you don't have to step up to get in, and the kids can climb in and out with ease. I like the tire pressure monitor and other safety features that it offers. Very, very happy!
