I really wanted a van and thought that a Nissan would be a good choice. It might have been but I dont think this van was in the best shape when I bought it. It has had multiple issues and has been in the shop 3 times in the past year.
No not buy a Nissan

I have major issues with this car. It has constantly been in the shop the last two years that I have owned it. I am continually fixing the breaks and alignment. I spent close to $3,000 in car repairs. The digital control panel doesn't work properly and it only reads the last three digits of the mileage. The power steering is now not working as well. I can not wait to get rid of this horrendous minivan...I will never a purchase another Nissan. I still owe until April 2015 on this car and it can not come soon enough
Strong engine, smooth ride, and it handles well, though a bit truck-like. We've loved the comfort of driving long distances in it, and by how easy the power doors and liftgate have made shopping and taking care of kids. The only thing it's missing is telepathic communication, but that's probably coming. It's a bit jumpy off the line, but power delivery is smooth from then on, with more power than you'll find in almost any other van. The continuously variable transmission makes shifts unnoticeable, which is nice when accelerating with sleeping kids in the back. It whines a bit, but not enough to be a nuisance. And THE LEATHER. It's the softest I've ever felt in a vehicle. It feels more like a Lexus than a Nissan, with wonderful fit & finish.
