it has an annoying whistling noise when it goes over 70 mph. I take the turnpike to work so I get the whistling noise a lot. It is a very comfortable care! Can't beat the comfort! Sometimes the engine rumbles a bit. I hope this does not get worse in the future.
My biggest issue while buying a car was finding one that was easy to install 2 carseats in, one forward facing and one rear facing. This car, although compact, definitely has room for the carseats. The car drives so smoothly. And biggest thing of all, it gets great gas mileage. It tells you how many miles until empty as well as your average MPG and what your MPG is at that very moment.
Overall a great car! I've had the car a little over a month and for the most part, it has been wonderful. It has a pretty quiet interior - not a lot of wind/traffic noise. The transmission is smooth, no rough gear shifting, it accelerates well, has great stopping speed, and is more than fast enough for me. The Sentra is a good car, gets the job done, with plenty of "comfort" add-ons. Pros: ? Great size, plenty of storage space in the trunk, average size backseat ? Smooth gear-shifting and acceleration ? CD player, AUX input, AC/heat, power windows, locks, and trunk release, Bluetooth capabilities, radio/volume adjustment on steering wheel ? Nice looking car - both exterior and interior ? Gauges, radio settings, and dials are easy to read, even at night Cons: ? No anti-lock breaks ? EPA mileage is advertised at 36 mpg highway - I've never gotten above 32 (even on a 650 mile road trip that was all highway driving) I average about 30 with my daily commute to work via the highways ? Seat adjustments are manual ? The Bluetooth system is hard to use - voice recognition of names and numbers is terrible, its hard to hear people, have to yell for them to hear me ? Headrest is very uncomfortable for me as a short driver I had to completely take it off the seat to be able to drive ? Large blind-spot on the drivers side
