I've owned my Titan for 2 years. Very mixed feelings for it right now- as far as styling/ride/comfort/price/handling- phenomenal. Couldn't ask for more. Then why the mixed feelings? Well, aside from the recalls, which is to be somewhat expected with a new entry vehicle by any company, there have been some other issues/annoyances. I have 42,000 miles on the truck right now. A couple of my struts have blown out. My rear axel seals are all chewed up and needed to be replaced. Many squeaks from the body. I have not taken this vehicle off road. I have hauled stuff around only a handfull of times (over 800 lbs in the bed)- point is- this vehicle HAS NOT taken a beating, but yet, after 42k miles, i'm having these problems??? Not so good. Nissan has fixed them all under warranty- however, I've read many other reviews from others with the same problems. I really don't know what to say beyond that... it's a good truck, better than some others for sure- but is it a great truck? hasn't acted like it... hopefully she'll come through in the end though.
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
