Great truck! 4D (Crew Cab) truck is extremely spacious and can seat 3 adults in the back more than comfortably. Easy fold up seats in the back are very convenient for carrying large items that are too fragile for the bed. Very smooth ride and quiet interior. Side view mirrors give great view all around vehicle. Additional features (Navigation and DVD) are very useful and easy to operate. Tons of cubby area for storage inside and one cubby on exterior near driver side rear tire for small items. Gas mileage is not great (about 14-15 mpg) but expected for large truck. Bed is still pretty big (about 6") considering large cab.
I really love my truck, it has plenty of room, and even though it is 2009 it looks brand new inside and out, ther is no dents scratches the interior is in perfect shape except one little spot on the drivers seat, but i cleaned it with some go jo and it came out. when it comes time to buy another vechicle for my son or husband I will go to carmax for the variety of cars and trucks they have.
The truck looks great, has decent power but poor fuel economy for the power. More modern trucks have much more power and better fuel economy. Value for the money is good, ride is nice, and tows amazing. The motor and transimission are great as well. Here is where the problems come in, I have had, to date, return the vehicle 6 times for EVAP fuel code, 3 of those times the truck was sent directly to Nissan. A quick search on google shows this is a problem plenty of other Titan ownwers have. That is dissappointing, especially since it's just emissions monitoring equipment. I've taken the truck in for rear main seal leaks twice, but has been fine so far since the last fix. I've had the truck in for rear ABS sensor, exhaust leak, and the 4X4 light flashing when switching it off. The 4x4 light was nothing, turns out that may not cut off immediately after you flip back to 2WD. Fortunately for me I purchased the extended warranty, and you always should when you are buying used because you just never know. Over all I'd say the Titan is average due to all the problems I've had in a 2 year period.
