I purchased the Nissan Titan 4-door Crew Cab for my husbands business. My husband is not a truck person and perfered his sports cars over any style of vehicle until the Nissan Titan. Now, he not only drives the truck for work, he also drives it for pleasure over his corvette. The crew loves the room in the cab space for the guys love to streatch thier legs on long 2-4 hour drives. The truck is perfect for towing our 16 ft enclosed cargo trailer loaded with equipment such as an air compressors and a heavy generator for our on-site jobs, it feels as if we are not towing anything with a smooth ride. The truck is high up and when my husband first drove it home, he said "feels like I'm driving a spaceship" and loves it! When I drove it, I loved it too! I lookforward to long road trips now that we have the Nissan Titan. You see many Nissan Titans on the road, but we still receive several compliments on how great our Nissan Titan looks.
I bought the Titan because compared to other trucks in its class, it give the best bang for the buck. Clever innovations improve on the traditional pickup. Among them: a factory-applied spray-in bedliner, a C-channel tie-down system for securing cargo and accessories, and a stash box integrated into the driver's-side rear fender for storing a tow hitch or other small items. A dampened tailgate assist reduces effort when opening and closing the tailgate. The Crew Cab has a power retractable rear window with privacy glass and an electric defroster. The captain's chairs with a better grade of cloth, 18-inch aluminum wheels, power everything, and host of other features, including an audio package that can play MP3-formatted CDs. The Rockford-Fosgate stereo tops it off.
I bought my Titan in 2006, now it has 90,800 miles on it. Never have I had any problems with it (knock on wood) until the other day. Something with the air bag system. Come to find out its a recall issue. GPM is around 19-22 depending on the day. I get better GPM when I hit 80MPH, go figure. I was getting 20-25 before I let the dealership clean out the fuel injectors. Tow and Load capacity is good. Ive loaded the back in way over what it says the truck can carry. But I also have the Tow package. That has come in handy a few times at the beach when I got stuck in the sand. Hit the Tow button and I just pull right out. Over all im happy with my Titan and ill buy another one when I run the wheels off this one. This truck has lasted longer than my Dodge Ram did. That Ram I had more problems with then I can remember. One key to keep this truck running. Every 30,000 miles there is a long list checkup that Nissan recommends. It cost 400-500 bucks each time but they drain most of the fluids, replace belts, filters, check all the little things, etc. but if you take care of your vehicle in most cases it will take care of you.
