Great truck/ Great price

Anonymous - , 12/26/2013

Rides smooth, great stereo sound, good size. The ONLY bad thing about this truck is that it's not recommended to drive in icy/snowy roads. It even states it in the manual.

Great Solid Truck

CJ - , 07/19/2013

I've had my 2010 Titan for nearly 2 years now. So far, it hasn't given me any trouble and I am quite happy with my purchase. Truck is at 42k miles and not showing one bit of age on the exterior, or the interior. The seats hold firm, which is really a pleasant surprise considering the abuse they've taken. Started looking at domestic trucks initially, but I will say people are awfully proud of them, and the prices reflect that. This truck does everything I ask of it, even if I ask things of it I shouldn't. I live in the mountains, so it gets a little bit of abuse when it comes to weather and terrain. The only thing that frustrates me is that I get about 13-14 MPG's on average, but that has to do with how I use it. I'd like better mileage, or a bigger tank to cut down on stops. Ride comfort is right up there with the more expensive trucks. I would ask that Nissan offer more than one engine choice. While the 5.6 is a workhorse, it's getting a bit aged. And with direct injection in some of the other trucks. I'd also love to see a diesel option. Not necessarily one that has 800 Lb/ft of torque, but something that balances towing capacity and MPG ratings. If a diesel were to show up on the market, I'd be first in line. Well built, great reliability and accessibility, combined with styling that isn't really aging make for a truck I'll keep until it dies. Give it a little TLC and keep up on the services and it'll be very loyal in return.

2006 Titan SE

That Guy - Corpus Christi, Tx 12/21/2011

I bought my Titan in 2006, now it has 90,800 miles on it. Never have I had any problems with it (knock on wood) until the other day. Something with the air bag system. Come to find out its a recall issue. GPM is around 19-22 depending on the day. I get better GPM when I hit 80MPH, go figure. I was getting 20-25 before I let the dealership clean out the fuel injectors. Tow and Load capacity is good. Ive loaded the back in way over what it says the truck can carry. But I also have the Tow package. That has come in handy a few times at the beach when I got stuck in the sand. Hit the Tow button and I just pull right out. Over all im happy with my Titan and ill buy another one when I run the wheels off this one. This truck has lasted longer than my Dodge Ram did. That Ram I had more problems with then I can remember. One key to keep this truck running. Every 30,000 miles there is a long list checkup that Nissan recommends. It cost 400-500 bucks each time but they drain most of the fluids, replace belts, filters, check all the little things, etc. but if you take care of your vehicle in most cases it will take care of you.

Top 10 Cars with High Ground Clearance
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
