Factory paint jobs Nissan trucks last only a couple years until the entire truck needs repainted. I wash and wax mine every week it's only 5 years out and clear coating has begun to fail on the hood and roof

Love the power, love the durability, plenty of room for the kiddos and more. Who needs a mom van when you can have this bad mother.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.375 reviews) The Nissan Titan is a great value in a 1/2 ton truck. The Titan combines stellar quality with stellar pricing to give you one of the best values in a great looking, great performing, well appointed package. It has all the power you could want for hauling or towing while you ride in total luxury. The infotainment system gives you all the features you could ask for like streaming pandora from your phone (and controlling it with full display from the screen), google send-to-car, bluetooth calling, text to voice, and more. The best part is that the Titan is often over-looked in the 1/2 ton truck market so you can find a great deal. You get so much more for your money than someone choosing another brand. They're all over-hyped.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4 reviews) The Titan compared to most other trucks doesn't carry as hefty of a price tag new to begin with. Nissan Titan, like Toyota Tundra, didn't keep tweaking the vehicle to death and planting different engines under the hood every year. As a result kept cost low and not as many issues.

Prone to problems: such as seat heaters and windows not working, frame rusting severely, Window seal on passengers side leaks water when raining and drips down in front of door power controls. Breaking system on snow is worthless. When breaking below 20mph feels like your pulling a horse trailer loaded trying to stop...motor pushing rpms too high. In the cold window seals shrink and cold air blasts through cabin. Back up sensors do not work properly beeps every time it is in reverse with nothing behind it. Will be unloading this truck in the spring. Almost a complete disappointment.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Brown Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) Although it's not the truck I was originally looking for, I am thrilled with this vehicle. I was driving a 2006 F150 STX and drive in to Atlanta almost every day of the work week and it got old after 2 years. The price was excellent, whoever owned it took very good car of it. Although a V8, it's surprisingly good on gas, handles well and hold the road in wet weather, navigation system, lots of perks. If there is a down side, I have to be careful changing lanes due to blind spots all around and it does not turn on a dime like an F150. Other than that, I am more than pleased with the vehicle

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.375 reviews) I bought the Titan because compared to other trucks in its class, it give the best bang for the buck. Clever innovations improve on the traditional pickup. Among them: a factory-applied spray-in bedliner, a C-channel tie-down system for securing cargo and accessories, and a stash box integrated into the driver's-side rear fender for storing a tow hitch or other small items. A dampened tailgate assist reduces effort when opening and closing the tailgate. The Crew Cab has a power retractable rear window with privacy glass and an electric defroster. The captain's chairs with a better grade of cloth, 18-inch aluminum wheels, power everything, and host of other features, including an audio package that can play MP3-formatted CDs. The Rockford-Fosgate stereo tops it off.

Reviews for Nissan Titan

Overall Rating

4.5 out of 5(156 reviews)

well cared for truck

It is very clean, even had a real coat of wax on it. Love the safety features, backing up with this big of a truck can be a trick, but it keeps itself safe. It even has a way to turn that feature off when towing, so it doesnt drive you nuts. And the door ajar thing is great also. I like the trip milage has 3 different ones, so you can keep track how long between oil changes, how long a trip and how far on a tank of gas, all without lousing the others. The cab and a 1/2 is comfortable enough for 4 adults and one hunting dog. And was able to load in the bed, a tent, two kayaks and all my other camping gear. great truck for work and play.

DOOR HANDLES

THE DOOR HANDLES ARE TWO LIGHT FOR A HEAVY DUTY TRUCK. IN ADDITION, NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHY THE DOOR LOCKS AND HANDLES FREEZE UP SO MUCH DURING COLD WEATHER. I DID NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH MY FORD OR CHEVEY. I HAVE HAD THIS CAR IN FOR MAINTENANCE AND THE HANDLE REPLACED WHICH BROKE. BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS, "WHY TITAN HANDLES FREEZE UP SO OFTEN?" IS THERE A REPLACEMENT ITEM TO PRECLUDE THIS? I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ABLE TO GET IN MY TRUCK AROUND 6 AM IN THE MORNING WHICH I CANNOT DO!

Great Truck

I moved up from a mid-size Dodge. The full-size Titan has been great. I've pulled a 24' center console (4000+ lbs) on a dual axle trailer with no problem. The full backseat fits my 3 kids (including a big car seat), comfortably. I think it's one of the best looking trucks on the road and have even gotten a couple random compliments in the parking lot. Visibility is great and the power rear window is a nice treat on warm days. The ONLY thing I hate is the gas mileage (approx. 13-15 city/25 hwy). This thing kills me when I have to fill up every 7-10 days. And now with gas creeping back up to $4+/gallon I'm forced to buy a second fuel-efficient car just for commuting. But, I will hold onto the truck because I do think it's the best one out there.
