This car begins to sway back and forth once you reach speeds of 55 mph or higher. The transmission pulls hard and takes a while to change gears. It gets an average of 30 mpg. This the very base model. There is no comfort as with any base model. Everything is manual and I do mean EVERYTHING. From locking each individual door to rolling down each window with the crank. I wish I had waited to find something else, but here we are. I will ride it out a couple years and trade for something more comfortable.
Affordable commuter car

I was worried about the comfortability of a small car but am very happy with the leg room for the driver as well as the passenger. The CVT transmission may take some time to adjust to but with excellent gas mileage and a tank fill for about $20 makes the Versa SP model a great buy. It's not a sports car that you would pay more than 2X the price; however the rear spoiler and chrome look front end sure looks great as you zoom through city traffic.
Happy with my little Nissan Versa

My Versa is great. It has some good features, like an indicator for low tire pressure and a black suede-like interior. It is quite easy to handle because of its compact size. Though it has that low-end engine and handle noise, its a pretty good bargain for an entry-level car. The Nissan Versa definitely has more of a solid and better quality body than the Toyota Yaris (and a better price ;) ), which I originally had been interested in. One more note- tall buyers beware- I am short and find this care comfortable, but I gave it a low comfort rating b/c it is cramped for a tall or large person.
